Hello! My name is Cindy
My childcare experience, along with being a parent and raising my own three children, includes previously owning my own licensed childcare and teaching Sunday school at a local church. This time spent with children in these settings has been the most rewarding and meaningful years of my life, so I decided once again to open my home for childcare. I have completed all of the certifications and classes required to be licensed and I’m excited to meet future families and continue doing what I love most, partnering with parents to foster their children’s growth and development through their preschool years. My favorite things to do with the children include exploring outdoors, gardening activities, nature walks, and music time.
Our Philosophy
To tell you a little bit more about our philosophy and approach to early childhood, we value that children learn through play, through their encounters in their environment, and through the meaningful social interactions with the people around them. While in our care, your child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development, will be fostered by having engaging conversations, a variety of stimulating and age-appropriate activities, and a loving and supportive climate.
We are passionate about what children learn as they explore the natural outdoor environment. For example, children will be encouraged to explore and be curious as they jump in puddles, dig in the dirt or pick vegetables from the garden. These opportunities will support your child’s physical development by fostering activities that children need in order to reach significant milestones, such as walking, jumping, pushing, pulling, and throwing, while also supporting their innate desire to learn through play.
